Aldo was struggling to build their market in hip urban areas. Beginning with a brand strategy deep dive, we created campaigns from 2008-2012 that distilled notions of lifestyle into pure expression, mirroring the ‘blogosphere’ and pop-culture landscapes of the past, present and future, from emojis to Warhol to the Moonwalk in surreal narratives that played off their trendy collections. The attention that our rebrand drew spiked their business and street-level credibility in the desired urban areas.
